Section 8 from developer TimeGate Studios, Inc (Axis & Allies, F.E.A.R. Extraction Point, F.E.A.R. Files, and F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate) is a large-scale, sci-fi first person shooter where fast-paced action meets military strategy in the far reaches of the galaxy. Join the epic battle between the 8th Armored Infantry and the Arm of Orion by taking part in fierce squad-based combat across majestic alien worlds.
Created exclusively for Xbox 360 and PC, Section 8 offers players more control over their environment by way of customizable “Loadouts”, vehicle and battle asset requests and the ability to drop into the action anywhere on the battlefield! With these unique strategic features, Section 8 distances itself from traditional run-and-gun first person shooters, potentially setting it up as a breakout hit when it releases later this year.
