Wet Gets A Release Date

Bethesda has recently announced that their stylized third person shooter will be hitting store shelves on September 15th. According to Bethesda, Wet “…blends gun play, sword kills and over-the-top acrobatics to create the ultimate action experience.” In Wet you are on a mission to find the man that left you for dead. You were initially hired to bring back a wealthy guy’s son, however, things aren’t always as they seem. Now Rubi is on the run searching for the guy that betrayed her and leaving an ever increasing body count in her path. Wet features three different types of gameplay with 360 degree slip-aiming mechanics, sword fighting and acrobatic abilities. The game will also feature a unique retro film visual treatment with stylized over the top characters, an original 70’s inspired soundtrack and locations that span three continents. This game was also written by Duppy Demetrius who is best known for is work on the popular series, 24.

“We are extremely excited to bring WET to gamers on September 15th,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. “A2M has created an explosive gaming experience and the action is non-stop from start to finish.”

“We’ve worked really hard to make WET different from any other action game available,” said Patrick Fortier, Creative Director at A2M. “When players experience the game’s unique blend of gunplay, sword combat and acrobatics, they won’t want to put the controller down.”
