New Baseball Blast Screenshots

2K Sports has released the box art as well as some new screenshots for their upcoming sports title on the Wii, Baseball Blast. Baseball Blast will give fans the opportunity to test their abilities in a variety of unique game modes, including skill challenges, puzzles and trivia matches. Over 20 different baseball themed mini games will be available such as Fly Ball Fury, Carni-ball, Power Pitcher, Bumper Base, Pennant Race, Galaxy Ball and many more. This will allow fans to “fulfill their virtual diamond fantasies by smashing home runs that soar past planets” as well as hitting cannonballs back at pirate ships and even steal bases on a baseball diamond inside the Rock prison. The game will also feature every MLB team and today’s top baseball stars along with commentary by baseball personalities Rob Dibble and “Mr. Baseball” himself, Bob Uecker.
Baseball Blast is set to hit the Nintendo Wii on September 29th. Check out the screenshots below and tell us what you think.
