Guitar Hero December DLC Announced

Activision has announced the December line up for Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero. 

The Fall of Troy will be hitting Guitar Hero on December 3 with the Fall of Troy Track Pack.  The songs in this new track pack include “Panic Attack,” “A Classic Case of Transference” and “Single” all off of the band’s October album “In The Unlikely Event”.

American pop rock band OneRepublic will hit Guitar Hero on December 12th.  The three songs in this pack will include “All The Right Moves” and “Everybody Loves Me” from their recent album “Waking Up” as well as “Mercy” from their first studio album “Dreaming Out Loud.”

On December 17th a three song track pack featuring Nada Surf, Pavement and Spoon.  Players will be able to rock out to Nada Surfs “Hi-Speed Soul,” experience the lo-fi rock music of Pavement with “Cut Your Hair” as well as “Sister Jack” by Spoon.

On December 22nd a new Celebrity New Years Rock Track Pack will become available.  Players can sing along to Taylor Swift’s “Our Song,” “Harder to Breathe” by Maroon 5 and “New” by No Doubt.

On December 22nd there will also be a free download of Steve Ouimette’s version of the classic “Hark The Hearld Angels Sing” which will be available on both the XBox360 and the Playstation 3.

These track packs will be available for 440 Microsoft points, $5.49 on the Playstation store and 550 Wii points.  In addition, each song will be available as an individual download for 160 Microsoft points, $1.99 on the Playstation store and 200 Wii points.
