Ubisoft Releases New Persia Trailer

A new trailer has been released for the Wii version of the upcoming Prince of Persia title.  Fortunately for Wii owners the Wii version is not simply a port of the version that will show up on the XBox360 and Playstation 3.  Ubisoft’s Quebec City Studio built this version from the ground up specifically for the Wii allowing them to maximize the Wii’s capabilities.  Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands features approximately 15 hours of original storyline as well as alternate paths, secret areas and unlockables.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a new installment in the popular Sands of Time series and, in case anyone was still wondering, will have absolutely nothing to do with the 2008 title from a storyline perspective.  Ubisoft promises that this version will treat players to a variety of locales that complement the Wii’s unique controls and capabilities.  Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is currently slated to swing into stores on May 18th.
