New Music Hits Guitar And DJ Hero

Activision has announced that new downloadable content is hitting the marketplace in celebration of the Independence Day in the United States.  Available today and featuring some of the biggest hits from global pop sensations such as Lady Gaga, Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, Duran Duran and Maroon 5, the Pop 1 Track Pack for the Guitar Hero music library and the DJ Hero Dance Party Mix Pack will provide hours of entertainment for you and your friends this holiday weekend.

The DJ Hero Dance Party Mix delivers a trio of new mixes – Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” mixed with “Girls On Film” by Duran Duran, Pussycat Dolls’ “Buttons” beat juggle and Rihanna’s “S.O.S.” beat juggle – that will have DJ’s spinning, scratching and battling.

Guitar Hero fans have a trio of pop artists in the Pop 1 Track Pack.  This track pack features Lady Gaga’s club anthem, “Just Dance,” Maroon 5′s hit single, “This Love” and the Synthpop hit, “Fireflies” by Owl City.

The Guitar Hero Pop 1 Track Pack is available for 440 Microsoft points, $5.49 on the Playstation Store and 550 Wii points.  All songs in the track pack will also be released as downloadable singles for 160 Microsoft points, $1.99 on the Playstation Store and 200 Wii points.

The DJ Hero Dance Party Mix Pack will be available for 640 Microsoft points and $7.99 on the Playstation 3.  All mixes will be released as downloadable singles for Wii for 300 Wii points each.
