New Quantum Conundrum Screens Released

We haven’t heard much about Quantum Conundrum lately and, well, we still don’t know much. All that is really known is that this game is a first person puzzle game and it is the new title from Portal creator Kim Swift. Despite not really knowing anything else, the development team has released two new screenshots to whet everyone’s appetite.
Quantum Conundrum is currently slated to be released sometime in 2012. Check out the screenshots below and tell us what you think about this this title.

I’m curious, Kim Swift left Valve and the Portal project for a competing company, and seems to be using a lot of Portal stuff in this game. There is no property conflict here? The lasers and lines of yellow dots and boxes aren’t property of Valve-Portal? How do that work?
