Kalypso Media has announced that Omerta – City of Gangsters, their 1920′s criminal conquest simulation, is now available in North America on the Xbox 360. Grab the game that puts you in charge of your own crime syndicate in 1920′s Atlantic City. Build, buy or burn…it’s all up to you as you take over the Prohibition-era city, building by building and block by block. Local tough-guys think they can out-muscle you? Show them you mean business in tactical turn-based combat. Need fast cash? Send in your team to rob a local bank, or use your business skills to pull a con or bribe an official. Atlantic City is yours for the taking, you just need to decide how you’ll do it – by muscle or money.

The turn-based combat in Omerta – City of Gangsters focuses on the tactical command of “The Boss” and his henchmen. Cover and stealth are essential parts of any shootout in the game. Finding the best vantage point to gun down an enemy, while taking cover from a hailstorm of bullets, can be just as satisfying as sneaking quietly behind a foe and taking him down.
