Square Enix has released a trailer with Takashi Tokita speaking about why they created a sequel to Final Fantasy IV and why it took eighteen years for it to come to fruition. He goes over some of the new characters that you will see in this game as well as returning characters that have “grown up” in the past eighteen years. He also briefly speaks about why they chose to make the sequel episodic, something Square Enix really hasn’t done much in the past. Check out the interview below and leave any thoughts below.
