Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Announced

Today Namco Bandai announced the next Dragon Ball game that they are working on for the XBox360 and Playstation 3. Â This newest game is titled, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and is the sequel to last year’s high-flying, fast-hitting, and intense versus battle series. Â Dragon Ball Z fans can rest assured that the destructible environment, and character trademark attacks and transformations will be true to the series. Â These include signature Pursuit Attacks which enable players to initiate attack combo strings, juggling your opponent in a string of devastating strikes throughout the environment. Â Additionally, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 will sport the new Raging Soul System which enables characters to reach a special state, increasing their combat abilities to the ultimate level.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 will sport more than 90 characters, 20 of which are brand new to the Raging Blast series, new modes, and more. Â Check out the screenshots below and tell us what you think.

OMG! are my eyes decieving me or is there going to be 2 vs 1 or even 2 vs 2 simultaneous fighting? 90 characters is a start, but where is the game that has all the characters from the series, DB to DBGT? Tenkaichi 3 had the best roster to date….I pray they use that as a blueprint for characters…DUECE!

That looks god awful, I’ve played every dbz game to date except the ones only in japan etc, the only thing making me keep playing them is how huge of a fan I am, but the truth must be known, all of the games have sucked, no one can tell me I’m wrong, even raging blast was a let down. Seriously, something like Buu’s fury, but on the xbox 360 and ps3 with those graphics and a lot of stuff, everybody would flip out over it, an dbz would be the new thing, too bad no one has been able to do it yet, stop making lame fighters, they’re bad.

What? Those are not the Raging blast 2 screenshots, those are tag team tenkaichi screenshots. No wonder the graphics look horrible. You got the wrong screenshots from the wrong game. TGN, you FAIL at announcing.

Ethan ur just aa bitch ive played just about every dbz game except the newest ones and just about all of them r great yes they could improve a bit thats y u comment and be positive not a little bitch who cant even create a game if he wanted to the only thing that namco needs to do is build on the amout of special attacks u can do and the health and energy bar the only dba games i didnt like was budakai one ant two cause the graphics but thats just bout it. and make every character where u cant only custumize the abilities but where u can train them to be stronger to an unlimited amount of power

Okay for one, let’s all remember that Toriyama retconned GT so don’t expect it ever again. However, seeing some of the minor characters and returning the movie characters would be a good start. If they can push the roster beyond 120 with just Dragonball and DBZ, then it would be amazing, which shouldn’t be too hard to do in the first place. The major thing I want to see with the new games is for them to increase the destructibility of the environments, and increase the amount of moves that are available to each character. Training would be nice as well, and for once returning the story mode to it’s original roots and playing the story AS IT WAS DONE in the series.
