With Modern Warfare 2 being released in a little over a month Activision has started their marketing campaign and TotallyGN has the unedited version of the commerical that is now starting on television. This trailer showcases some new stuff as well as some of the destruction that gamers can expect from this title. A couple of images in this video include the Washington Monument after an attack as well as other landmarks around Washington DC that have been, at least partially, destroyed. In addition to the game being released on November 10, Activision has entered into a marketing deal with Monster Energy drink. As part of the promotion, consumers who purchase the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 branded 4-packs will have the chance to win prizes including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition, a future map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, exclusive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 XBox360 or PS3 premium console themes, and Monster beverages. To enter, you will have to enter the unique code printed on the inside of the package that can be redeemed at the official Monster Energy drink website. Additionally, consumers who purchase the 6-packs of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 branded Monster Energy (sold exclusively through Sam’s Club) will be granted access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Combat Training Experience, an exclusive, online event at Infinity Ward that will be an in depth look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 this November.
